The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) requires licensed real estate salespersons and brokers to renew their license every two years.
If you are renewing your salesperson license for the first time, TREC requires you to complete 98 hours of Salesperson Apprenticeship Education (SAE) courses. You are on the right page! Enroll in one of our Salesperson Apprenticeship Education (SAE) course packages to fulfill the TREC education requirement for your first license renewal. Please note that a salesperson who has been made a supervisor by their broker prior to their first renewal also needs to take the 6-hour Broker Responsibility Course, which can be found with our Texas CE Courses.
If you have already renewed your license once and this is your subsequent renewal or if you are a broker, TREC requires you to complete 18 hours of Continuing Education (CE) courses. CE courses are different than Salesperson Apprenticeship Education (SAE) courses and you can enroll in them by navigating to our Texas CE Packages.
