Georgia Post-License Education

Georgia Real Estate Post-License Requirements
If you are a newly licensed agent, the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) requires you to complete 25 hours of Post-Licensing education within the first year of licensure in order to keep their license active. You are on the right page! Enroll in our Post-License course package to fulfill the GREC education requirement.
Please Note: From the 25 hours of Post-Licensing education, 9 hours will count toward fulfilling the Continuing Education (CE) requirement to renew your license for the first time after four years of licensure. Â In order to complete the 36 hour CE requirement for license renewal, you will also need an additional 27 hours of CE courses.
If you have already completed your Post-License education and are renewing your license, GREC requires you to complete 36 hours of Continuing Education (CE) courses from an approved course provider. If this is your first renewal, 9 hours from the Post-License courses will count toward your CE credit and you will need 27 hours of credit. If you have already renewed your license once before, you will need the full 36 hours of credit. CE courses are different than Post-License courses and you can enroll in them by navigating to our Georgia CE Packages.
Course Details
Course Format: Our courses are completely online and self-paced. Our courses are a combination of text and interactive elements which consist of true/false matching, vocabulary matching, scenario-based learning and more. This format makes our courses both interesting and engaging.
Reporting: We report course completions to GREC automatically on your behalf, typically within 1-2 business days.
Course Expiration: Expiration dates vary based on each course but are generally one year after your order date.
Final Exams: GREC requires license holders to pass the post-license course final exams with a minimum score of 70%. The exam is not timed and consists of 50 multiple choice questions. If a student fails, they are allowed unlimited retakes.
Proctoring: GREC requires third party proctoring of post-license final exams. We partnered with PSI to offer proctoring at a low cost of $25 per exam attempt. This proctoring solution is 100% online and can be utilized at your convenience. Upon passing the exam, you will be asked to sign an affidavit verifying your identity.
Certificates: You will receive an electronic certificate of course completion upon successful course completion and submission of the signed affidavit.
