Virginia Real Estate Post-License Requirements
If you are a newly licensed agent, the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) requires you to complete 30 hours of Post-Licensing education within the first year of licensure in order to keep your license active. You are on the right page! Enroll in our Post-License course package to fulfill this education requirement.
Please Note: Salespersons who complete the post-license education requirement do not need to take Continuing Education (CE) for their first renewal.
Course Details
Course Format: Our courses are completely online and self-paced. Our courses are a combination of text and interactive elements which consist of true/false matching, vocabulary matching, scenario-based learning and more. This format makes our courses both interesting and engaging.
Reporting: We report course completions to the Virginia DPOR automatically on your behalf, typically within 1-2 business days.
Course Expiration: Expiration dates vary based on each course but are generally one year after your order date.
Final Exams: License holders must pass the course final exam with a minimum score of 75%.
Certificates: You will receive an electronic certificate of course completion upon successful course completion and submission of the signed affidavit.
