While you may not be an appraiser, understanding real estate appraisals is an important part of your job. The State of Texas requires licensees to have a solid understanding of the appraisal process. This 30-hour course covers the real estate appraisal topics that you need to know to stay up-to-date. Topics include the core purposes and functions of an appraisal, social and economic determinants of value, and a review of the three main approaches to appraisals (sales, cost and income).  This course also includes practical case studies.
