Housing discrimination is a pervasive problem in the real estate industry, and this course examines both federal and state regulations to combat it. You’ll learn about the Fair Housing Act and protected classes and determine if you have an “implicit bias” preventing you from providing equal service. You’ll then review the recent Newsday expose on Long Island, which used testers to discover fair housing violations, and the new National Association of REALTORS® guidelines.
