Every successful real estate practice in Alabama is built on a solid understanding of license law. This course covers that law’s key principles, including the Real Estate Consumers Agency and Disclosure Act (RECAD). Along with a review of RECAD, it examines topics that often confuse both licensees and consumers, such as how agency is established, required disclosures, contingencies, and duties after closing.

This three-hour course walks licensees through the areas of risk that arise between an accepted offer and the signing of closing documents. It also stresses the importance of keeping buyers and sellers informed at every stage of the transaction.
