This course provides an overview of the responsibilities of an Alabama qualifying broker. While licensees can be the biggest asset to a brokerage, they often pose the largest risk. Inexperienced licensees may make unintentional mistakes while experienced licensees can act beyond the scope of their license. You will learn about the broker’s role in supervising licensees and staff, including how to create policies and procedures for approved activities. In addition, you will review record keeping duties, the proper handling of earnest money, property management licensing requirements, trust fund management, requirements for licensee-owned properties, and the proper use of various forms of advertising.
